Recent updates have elevated this property. Bathroom cabinets and fixtures were updated, we put in 'sun-bleached' premium laminate flooring upstairs, repainted and added bigger ceiling fans. There's a 55" LED on the family room wall.

This villa is perfect for two families or a family bringing along the grandparents for a fun family vacation. Here’s why:

• Due to our location compared to other units in the complex, we're a 2 minute walk to the beach parking lot, and just another 2 minutes from the beach parking lot to the beach. Other 3 bedroom units are another minute + further and are across from the pool which gets loud at night.

• This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath villa is a ground floor access unit (no flight of stairs to climb with chairs and a cooler and no elevator to wait for). It's quiet with all new furnishings and a new kitchen. This is an end unit Villa with a big side and back patio for afternoon sunbathing while the kids nap. This area gets great afternoon shade which others do not. The side sliding doors (b/c it’s an end unit) let in a lot of natural light. Make sure you see the patio pictures of other units.

• We also have a private patio in the front with a gas grill off the kitchen that's suitable for outdoor lunches, parking the beach buggy with chairs, and bike storage.

• The three bedrooms (see pictures) sleep 8 are upstairs so entertaining can continue downstairs. There is also a pull out sleeper downstairs.

• The island's best beach includes restrooms and a shower area for rinsing off. Life Guards are on duty from mid-March to September, 8 to 5, and morning/dusk walks on the beach are just awesome.

The large shaded swimming pool has restrooms. 'Adventure Cove', a wholesome children's entertainment area, is located a very short walk away. There are also good restaurants within easy walking distance.

We were so excited to find Margot’s place last minute for our July trip. Everything was just as pictured. Loved the short walk to the beautiful pristine beach. Loved the short drives to so many things to do but the home still felt private and quiet. The house is very well insulated and stayed cool even with the high heat and humidity outside. There are many free or cheap local museums, aquariums, events, and kid-friendly restaurants and shopping centers within 5-15minutes. Great location for a relaxing getaway! We came home refreshed!

Short walk to beach is accurate. The beach is beautiful! Enjoyed the bar/restaurant across the street. I was told by the owner the pool would be closed but it was being cleaned so the kids went in !! They loved it! Very convenient to everything on the island. Loved it!

Overall, the condo was very well-suited for four of us. The downstairs is very large and open, with a huge TV and two doors that open up to the patio. The kitchen is also very well stocked with all plates, pots, pans, utensils, and coffee makers - pretty much everything you would need. And the location was great - a very easy walk to the beach. I also enjoyed how quiet it was. All communication with ownership was prompt and courteous. I feel like there were some easy updates that could be made cosmetically speaking but nothing that prevented us from enjoying all that the condo had to offer.

We enjoyed meals and sun and storytime on the patio areas together. The outdoor spaces are beautiful! The kids spent loads of time in the condo's shared pool. The bedrooms are laid out nicely upstairs, with a main bath and a ensuite which worked very nicely. The Folly Field public beach access closed Sept 11 for rebuilding work until November 17 which was a disappointment as the next nearest beach accesses are about 15 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive - Islanders Beach or Bradley Beach or Burke's beach. Bradley Beach parking was free while we were there(parking meter was out of order), Islander was $1/hr (quarters only). The kitchen was nice - we cooked lots of our own food. Walmart or Publix are just 10 minutes away. It was a quiet place to stay, and we had a lovely time. We'd come back again!

Our stay at 44 A Stones Throw was fabulous! Plenty of room for my husband, myself, out 4 adult children and 1 DIL. Places to be together, and places for privacy. 2 1/2 baths make all the difference in the world! 4 TV’s are nice but we mostly just watched SHARK WEEK together. (crazy you know). Mostly we enjoyed the big dining room table with 8 chairs to eat together and play games at night. The beds are comfy and the bath towels plentiful. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need to cook for your whole family. Plenty of plates/bowls and silverware. Botha drop and Keurig coffee maker. The walk to the beach is easy- even for my husband who had a knee replacement 5 mos ago. The wagon provided makes it easy to take all your supplies for a day of sunning and swimming. The beach itself is lovely with a bath house on the board walk to refill waters, rinse off, or use BR. Lifeguards watch the waters for any danger. (It is an ocean remember!) I highly recommend this condo!

We all really enjoyed our stay in unit 44. It was immaculately clean. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Our meeting was held in the tennis resort right across the street. The kids 13, 9, and 5 didn't mind the walk to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the ocean. There was plenty of towels, dishes pots and pans, even games and beach toys. We would love to stay again next year. This was a good value for our money.

Loved the proximity to the beach and shopping (the bar across the street was a fantastic find)! The pool is a hidden gem! This condo house our family of 8 (including 4 teenaged boys) well. We were pleased with it. Beach is easily reached with the walking/bike path and isn't too far to haul all of our stuff. Having the use of the extra cart and chairs was helpful as well.

We enjoyed our stay at 44 Stones Throw! This was our first time in Hilton Head, so we did not know what to expect, but the other reviewers were helpful and true. The location was perfect, easy to get to the beach, grocery and restaurants. The condo was perfect for my husband and I with our adult children. More than enough kitchen supplies to cook and plenty of space to enjoy evening meals together followed by card games into the night. Many memories made this week. Thank you!!!

Fun Family Vacation! The property is perfect for a family looking for a vacation in Hilton Head. The condo is perfectly sized, well stocked with kitchen essentials and close to the beach. There are many options for rentals in Hilton Head, but few are as close to the beach and as centrally located as this property. For families looking for a great value, I highly recommend this property!
