Strongly Recommend This Home! We were one of the first families to stay in this lovely home after renovation. We booked without seeing pictures, trusting Margot's recommendation and were more than happy with the results. The zoned bedrooms are perfect for families with teenagers. We loved the location- close to the beach walkover, tennis courts, and general store- and being right on the lagoon was awesome! We spent hours in the private pool, and cooked most of our meals at the outdoor kitchen. Strongly recommend this home, and we hope to visit again soon.

This house exceeded expectations. Extras that we weren't counting on like beach chairs and out door shower. the kitchen was well equipped with even an air fryer. We enjoyed hanging out at the outdoor grill area by the pool. Margot was very responsive to questions. Would definitely rent from again.

This home is incredibly comfortable for multiple families to enjoy. There’s plenty of indoor seating, beds and outdoor lounge chairs to enjoy. The pool overlooking the lagoon is perfect, as well. We spent many hours visiting and letting the kids play. The ocean is a short walk away, and the Palmento Dunes resort was picturesque, safe and had amenities onsite like a cute general store with food, necessities and treats. We would definitely return to this special place!

The property was just as described. Plenty of room for our 6 adults and 2 small children. Very nice kitchen and appliances. The added ice maker is a real convenience for trips to the beach. Beautiful deck, pool, gas grill and dock on the canal. The walk to the beach is very reasonable. We would recommend this house for a nice stay at HIlton Head.

The property is lovely! We enjoyed gathering in the large, well-equipped kitchen-keeping room area, as well as the living room area and outdoor pool area. The bedrooms are spacious as well. There’s a great game and reading cabinet too. Our family had plenty of room to spread out, and we had a great time. If you have children, you might want to make sure they wear shoes when going on the deck…the deck is a bit rough. Otherwise, the stay was perfect.

We had a great vacation with our kids - the house was great, short walk to the beach and close to everything. The pool was a nice option when we didn’t feel like getting sandy. The blue heron that visited occasionally was beautiful!

Our week in this home was our first time in Hilton Head and it was fantastic!!! The home was great. The location was perfect. Near everything. The house was comfortable and spacious for the eight of us. And the pool was perfection!!! It was very easy to get in touch with the property manager and there were no complications at all. The flexible floor plan, amenities in home, very convenient location on lagoon, steps to beach, short walk to tennis, boogie boards and cinnamon rolls at Country Store, bikes, kayaks, pool, dock, grill, and every basic need we wanted in the house was there for us, from linens to TVs. Our 4 teenage grandsons had their bunk room with bath-perfect. While the home was well appointed, it was comfortable enough so that we did not have to walk on pins and needles, we could relax. Our whole family takes their shoes off at the door at home or away, minimizing sand on the wood floors. We could feel at ease and enjoy being in the home. The management team answered us promptly whenever we had a question. One adult had to work some while there hooked up to the WIFI. What a wonderful place for family. Updated furnishing. A nice kitchen. Lotsof room. But the best-the pool! Everyone enjoyed it. Also very peaceful sitting outside. Walk to the beach not too far-we learned to drop our stuff off so we didn’t have to drag it while walking.

Our stay at this beautiful home was relaxing and fun. Everyone was taken aback with the beauty of the inside and outside. We spent a lot of time on the back porch area relaxing by the pool and watching all the wildlife. The pool and the house are much larger than we had expected. We love Palmetto Dunes, having stayed there for the past 7 years. This was our first time to rent on the canal. The wildlife was special for the 5 grandchildren. Having all the rooms on one floor made keeping up with grandkids so much easier. Easy walking distance to the general store made for good memories. The house was well equipped to serve the 11 of us. The bunk bed room was a hit for all of the cousins. The other 3 rooms were good for the adults. Cooking in the kitchen was easy with all of the items found in and around the large kitchen. The pool overlooking the canal was a great place to relax after a busy day at the beach. We will return to Palmetto Dunes again and would consider renting here again. Thank-you !

This was my families first visit to Hilton Head, and staying at this house made this a trip to remember. The location was wonderful...close walk to the beach. The outside space was peaceful and relaxing...backyard pool and views of the lagoon. The house is exactly as described on the website. This is a wonderful house and the location is perfect. The kids loved the pool and played in in several times each day. The property was clean and we loved the layout of the house. We enjoyed the views out back and relished the quietness of the property. We also enjoyed the nice running/walking/bike paths. We had one minor issue when we arrived, but the owners addressed it immediately. There is also a local contact who was extremely helpful as well. We loved our stay!

My family loved this home. It had everything we needed and more. The kids had a blast playing in the pool. We cooked on the grill several nights and there was even a little drink refrigerator outside! Our favorite part of this home was the wildlife. We called the lagoon the "animal highway." We saw owls, alligators, osprey, turtles, anhinga and kingfishers. Great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful but we spent most of our time in the pool area - it was so perfect and had a great mix of sun and shade most of the day. The lagoon area was so nice - we enjoyed coffee down there every morning. It was so peaceful and we just loved all the wildlife we saw! The only drawback for us was that the bunk beds were a bit short for our tall guys. They were able to find other places to sleep though!

This is the perfect spot for a family vacation! The house is roomy and comfortable. It has a great kitchen and an awesome outdoor space / pool. Our favorite part was the property being on the lagoon where we saw baby alligators, turtles, flying fish, hawks, egrets, and more. It's a great location and so close to the beach (8 minute walk), restaurants, and shops. We will be back!
