Great stay!

My wife and I enjoyed our 7 day stay. We would stay here again. The house is very well decorated and the layout is cozy. Everything worked as it should and the unit was clean. The king size bed was quite comfortable. The screened porch was a nice place to hang out. We enjoyed our stay in the house and the closeness to the beach, pool, and restaurants make this a place we would stay in again.

A great location, just a fourth a mile away from where our main group (15) where staying. Perfect for two people. A lovely week!

This place was great. Relaxing and accommodating.

Overall, a great place for a couple to spend time on Hilton Head. Quiet area, never felt like neighbors were too close, everything you need is in the house. I'd be very happy to spend another week here.

We were very happy with our stay relative to cost, comfort and location! Awesome to walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Love the surroundings of vegetation and the birds, deer and privacy. So convenient to the alternative Sea Pines gate. Hosts VERY responsive and friendly! No issues whatsoever!

We loved our visit to Hilton Head and our stay at Night Heron. The home was perfect for the two of us. We loved the privacy the forest preserve afforded. Can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at 17 Night Herron. Easy bike ride to Harbor Town for RBC Heritage and very convenient beach access. Comfortable bed and lovely screened porch.

Great location in Sea Pines Plantation. Just a few minutes walk to terrific beach. Excellent place for 1 or 2 people. Unit was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Host was responsive

Great location in the gated and beautiful Sea Pines community. Easy to get to and short scenic walk to the beach. Great area of the island, close to all the major things to do. Rental was a great space, and we got to wake up to a beautiful view each day.

The cottage was prefect for two. Just a three minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommend renting bicycles and beach chairs. Would definitely stay again!

had a wonderful stay in this bungalow, very quiet and just a 5min walk from the beach. Everything was as seen on the pictures. The host was very helpful and quick to respond with questions and inquiries. I hope to come back!

Great little beach bungalow for my husband and I. We have stayed in the Night Heron bungalows before and this one did not disappoint. Spacious for 2 people, close to the beach with a secluded feeling. The bungalow had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would certainly book again!

This property was exactly what was pictured! Very peaceful and private. The house is very cozy and we felt right at home. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions about the stay. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We stayed here for a long weekend (4 nights) over Memorial Day. Location is great…just inside the Sea Pines Gate with an easy bike ride/walk to the beach. Screened deck was a great place to unwind and relax.

Even more impressive in person. Nicely done decor and open spaces inside and out. The screened in deck was great for private dining and enjoying the beautiful greenery surrounding the place.

Location, location, location. Just a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which is very important since beach parking is scarce. We were the first renters after the gorgeous February 2023 remodel project. The stainless steel under-counter fridge and freezer frees up more counter space above the pull out drawers. Next to the fridge is a slim wine cooler, which also works well for beer or hard seltzer. Excellent counter lighting for cooking. The new king size bed was very comfortable. We liked the contemporary style beach furniture and wall lighting. The best feature is the large screened in porch with teak furniture. Not only is it lovely but it extends the living area through easy access from the tv/kitchen area or the bedroom sliding glass doors. We also value the private view out every window due to the beautiful palmetto landscaping. The BeachBum manager, Jim Brown, was very responsive to our questions and requests. Check-in process is a breeze. Garbage is picked up twice a week: Wednesday & Saturday. You don’t have to move the bins from their outdoor storage space.

I have been staying at this property once or twice a year for for the past ten years. The property and location keep me coming back. The owner / property manager are great to work with. Seamless check-in, excellent communication. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the unit! The natural tropical setting was very nice. Had nice evenings on the screened in porch. Would definetely stay again.

Barbara Diane B Fri, Oct 22 – Fri, Oct 29, 2021 Vrbo 5/5 A little piece of heaven! I spent a week at the bungalow with my little dog Brady at the end of October 2021. It was just what I needed. Perfect size, with an amazing screened porch which felt like being in a jungle. Very close to the beach and bike/walking trails. Very quiet among other bungalows. I would definitely recommend this property for a wonderful getaway!

This is our 15th visit to this property—so you might assume we assume we love it—and you’d be right! Secluded in a woodsy area but close to the beach. Right on the bike paths and a short walk to the Forest Preserve and its hiking trails. Just the perfect place to stay. Over the years there above been multiple property management companies, and the current one is the best to work with. Great communication and prompt response to inquiries. Highly recommended!

We are very happy with our vacation in this rental. First of all, it is located minutes from the beach, marker 46. The unit has one parking space assigned, and it is directly in front on the unit. There is an outdoor shower, although it is open to view. The property has an amazing large screened in porch with very comfortable seating. it is completely private, and I was able to do yoga on it every morning while listening to the birds around. The porch provided view of wildlife: owls, deer, turtles, occasional snake, the stream nearby added more to the sound effects. The porch also has a fan, which was a big plus on a hot day. Indoors, the AC unit is very powerful and cooled the unit down very quickly, especially the bedroom. The bedroom had extra pillows in the closet which we ended up needing because the pillows provided were a bit flat. Extra linen was found in the living room, probably for the sleep couch. But there were only two of us, so we did not need all of those. The bed was comfortable. We had to do minor furniture rearrangement as the bed did not have a bedside table on one side, so we moved one from the living room:) and of course forgot to put it back, we apologize:) The living room had everything we needed, comfortable sofa and chairs. The kitchen although small had all needed necessities: several skillets non stick of varied sizes, one large pot with lid, a couple of smaller pots with lids, bowls of different sizes, vegetable peeler, can opener, bottle opener. The only thing it missed was good knives. But I never stayed in a unit that had good knives or cutting boards, so I bring my own now. The stove, although old, was working fine but we have not tried the oven. We had no issue with the fridge that the other renter mentioned. We also really appreciated having a kettle as well as regular coffeemaker, as we tend to drink both! And of course the toaster for morning toasts:) We had a minor issue with the shower faucet during our stay, but the manager was very quick to respond to our concern and the issue was dealt with the same day! It was also very convenient that the managers were able to rent us bikes, so that simplified things for us. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and will be returning to this unit in the future.

Very reasonable and pleasant walk to the beach. Wonderful screened-in porch with ceiling fan and night lighting. A/C kept the bedroom nice and cool for easy sleeping on a comfy bed. The lights on the short path were not working. Highly recommend. We will be booking again.

This was a perfect spot for our small family of 3 and our pups. Quiet, great nature watching from the back deck, so close to the beach! The pool for the neighborhood was an added bonus. We loved Night Heron!

Easy booking; Property was exactly as described. Very quiet, peaceful, private. 5 minute walk to fabulous beaches ~ the access is right across the street! We will definitely return!

We had a great time. The property was very clean, location was great, we had no issues.

The house was clean and pleasant. I had my dog with me, and she seemed to enjoy the back and front porches. I saw deer from the porch!

This nicely appointed beach house was just the right size for our little family. Walks to the pool and beach were easy and beautiful. The screened in porch was a wonderful addition. It felt like you were in a tropical jungle and the gorgeous white heron who visited daily was a treat to observe.

We love the Night Heron properties due to their location just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and pet friendly. They are a perfect get-a-way for my wife and I with our dogs.

I am a repeat visitor to this property, I believe this past week was my 14th stay. It is a cozy little hut in a quiet, secluded area that is in walking distance to the beach and Sea Pines Nature Preserve. It is just perfect. The current management company is much better to work with than the previous one. Reservations, check in, and check out are effortless. Had two very minor problems with the rental this past time; each was solved within 5 minutes of my text to the property manager. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here. The beach was about a 5 minute walk from our place. The place was clean and comfortable. We got to see all different kinds of wild life from the screened in porch including an owl. All the food near by was amazing and a short distance away. We would definitely stay here again

Fairly clean home, very private and quiet. Has all the amenities you should have while away from home including plenty of kitchen utensils and pots/pans. Right on the lagoon so watching the deer, turtles, and fish was fun. We will be back again!

Great little cottage nestled in a beautiful area. Lots of nice places to walk and only a ten minute to the beautiful beaches. We'll be back.
