About Us

Jim Brown, Property Manager-in-Charge and his wife, Margot, began vacationing in Hilton Head Island in 1994. After purchasing a rental home in 1996 they found that management from the larger rental companies felt impersonal. After moving permanently to the island in 2004, they began a small short term rental business with a strong focus on customer service. They personally greet every renter and are on call 24 hours a day to meet the needs of every guest. Margot and Jim have been married for over 30 years and have three daughters.

Jim has his BA degree from Rutgers University and his Med from Temple University. He was most recently the Athletic Director at Hilton Head Preparatory School and was a Hilton Head Island firefighter for 3 years.

Margot Brown, Business Manager

Margot has her BA from Rutgers University and is a CPA. She is currently the Director of Institutional Advancement at Hilton Head Preparatory School and has spent several years as an Investment Advisor.

This was a 5 star stay all the way! Perfect property, private, wonderfully designed home. All the appliances, furnishing and fixtures are updated and beautiful. We had a great experience from checkin to check out. The home is perfectly appointed, everything was thoughtful and well designed. The hot tub was amazing, what a cleverly designed lid, I had no trouble with it.. The deck was lovely, deer passed by every morning and evening. The home was spotlessly clean, I can say that because I traveled with my small dog. She find anything and everything and there was nothing.. not a speck of trash or dust anywhere. Kitchen is stocked with basics.. If you're experienced with rentals, you already know a sharp knife and good potholder are items you need to bring. Otherwise great, we cooked almost every night and had all we needed! Beds were great, best I've had in a rental, sufficient linens and very clean. Shower pressure great. TV's and wifi perfect. Sliding doors are a little tight, but such a nice feature! The area was very quiet, I did a bike rental and explored, lovely paths and the wildlife was abundant! 10 out 10, would highly recommend!
